  • #3: Correct: Vary the pitch is correct because if you vary the pitch then it will make people more interested
  • #4: Correct: you would wave at someone from another culture because waving at someone indicates that you might know that you want to say hello to them or possibly goodbye
  • #5: Sign language or mouthing/lip reading is the only way to communicate with a deaf person if you go somewhere that’s filled with noise they wont be able to hear you, don’t turn your face away as they rely on eye contact and definitely don’t shout at them
  • #6: Correct :PowerPoint can be a really good way to engage with your audience, however you have to be careful that you don’t read off the slides as anyone can do that. You should just use them as cue cards.
  • #7: Students and teachers writing may cause distraction but the real distractions would be background noise for example students chatting or possibly music playing in the background.
  • #8: A closed question is one that can give only 2 possible answers yes or no or in this case male or female the other three are open meaning you can give many more answers like nationality could be British, Italian French German, Polish etc.
  • #9: Emoticons are way of showing how you feel in a written message because people cant see your facial expressions when you are writing so you put punctuation in which resembles the likeliness of a face e.g: ( = sad face.

  • #13: Correct: Determined is an attitude along with tolerance independence and integrity.
  • #14: Correct if someone is making eye contact with you most of the time it shows they are listening to you.
  • #15: Correct. Time management skills will show your employer that you can use your time effectively.
  • #16: Correct if someone looks like they are interested in what you are saying there body will be in a position that shows this they might also be nodding and they will also be making eye contact.
  • #17: Correct. It is always a good idea to be independent when working because if you can use your own initiative and do things without asking or being asked then it will give you a good reputation.
  • #18: Correct :If you are tolerant of people it will show that you have patience and can put up with someone or something and this will make you a better person in the future
  • #19: Correct: It is always a good idea to be dependable because it will show people they can trust you.
  • #20: Correct: Leadership skills are always a good idea because they show you can take charge of something and tell people what to do if they are unsure. A good leader will also be able to work well with others, sharing the workload.
  • #21: Correct: It is a good idea to be good at problem solving because when someone presents you with a problem, you will more than likely be able to go out and deal with it.
  • #22: Correct: Confidence is always a good thing, if you are confident then people are more likely to employ you than if you are shy, however too much confidence is called arrogance and will put people off you.
  • #23: Spelling and grammar is always a good idea because if you don’t spell things right people will think you are either dyslexic,which could put them off you or might just make them think you’re not very clever.
