Important Sites
• MAT Electronic Portfolio (Completed in 2006)
This website gives a basic idea of where I was when I first completed the MAT
Program at TCNJ in Ewing, NJ. I apologize for the 2-3 unavailable links in the Frog
WebQuest, the program I used to create the website is no longer available. I just
wanted to give you an idea of the skills that I learned in the program and how far I
have come since then.
• Website that I Created Last Summer for a Class in Information Technology
In the Spring of 2014, I started the Master of Library and Information Online
Program at Rutgers University. This past summer I took a class called, Information
Technology, where I learned how to create webpages using NotePad++, FileZilla,
and MySQL Workbench. The website listed above was my final project.
• How to Search Using Searchasaurus
Another class, Principles of Searching, enabled us to learn how to create a
screencast to teach a lesson on how to use a database to complete searches. This
screencast was made by a classmate who made the video primarily to help
elementary school aged children perform searches.
Important Sites (Continued)
• Prezi Presentation on Mitchel Resnick (Creater of Scratch Program)
I also had some professional development in the area of using the program Prezi
to create visual presentations. The above presentation is one that I created for
Mitchel Resnick, the creator of a coding program for children called Scratch.
• My Current Teaching Webpage for Manchester Township
In our district, it is highly recommended that you have a webpage for students
and parents/guardians to refer to. This allows parents/guardians to be aware of
classroom activities and assignments. Students can use the resources, website
links, and homework assignments pages as needed.
