This document outlines the practical assessment students will complete this term. They will be assigned to create a 30 second television advertisement for a randomly assigned product and target audience. Working in groups, students must research similar ads, plan their ad including branding, roles, storyboard, and schedule, then film and upload the ad to YouTube by the deadline. They will be evaluated on their written assessment, lesson effort, and demonstration of planning and conceptual skills through the practical production task.
