This document outlines 9 sessions for a drama project where students worked in groups to dramatize the story "The Elves and the Shoemaker". Over the sessions, the groups filled out templates to plan their dramatization, developed scripts, and had rehearsals. - 2. 1st SESSION Planning Implementation 0 Presenting drama “The elves and the shoemaker”. Talk about group work, distribute them in groups and give them roles. 0 No changes
- 3. 2nd SESSION Planning Implementation 0 Read in groups the story and play a game with the key words in groups. Fill in their first template about the drama written structure in groups. 0 I changed the word game into mimics. They did not finish the first template. We did not do the glossary.
- 4. 3rd SESSION Planning Implementation 0 Continue and finish the 1st template. 0 We did not finish the 1st template.
- 5. 4th SESSION Planning Implementation 0 Start with the 2nd template about narration and dialogues for the ending of the story, and start thinking about the way in which they are going to perform the story. Distribute the characters. 0 We finish the 1st template and I introduce the 2nd one, but some of them do not begin it yet. We don’t have time to fill in the peer and self assessment.
- 6. 5th SESSION Planning Implementation 0Finish template details. Start thinking about the first rehearsal. 0 It takes the whole session to continue with the 2nd template. We do not rehearse and there’s no time for peer and self assessment.

Think about materials. 0 There’s no rehearsal. They continue with the 2nd template (script). No time to think about materials or to fill in the peer and self assessment.
- 8. 7th SESSION Planning Implementation 0Finish improvements and prepare materials for their performance: make their own/bring from home. Fill in the 3rd template. 0 Most of the groups finish their scripts and do their first rehearsal. No time for peer and self assessment or to memorize the script. They will have the script when performing. We don’t fill in the 3rd template nor prepare costumes, etc.
- 9. 8th SESSION Planning Implementation 0 Last rehearsal in front of peers, with materials included. Finish last details. Think about how to interact with the young pupils (rubric/questions…). 0 They will rehearse in front of a different group (session 5). 0 (Possible relaxation activity at the beginning or ending of the session – 5 min.) 0 Rehearsal without materials. We don’t prepare questions. 0 We do a brief relaxation activity at the beginning of the session. 0 I create the advertisement for the kids.
