The DIFC Lighthouse in Dubai will be a low-carbon commercial building for the Dubai International Financial Centre that aims to reduce energy consumption by 65% and water consumption by 40% through passive solar design, renewable energy sources like photovoltaic panels and wind turbines, and water recycling. The building will have 84,000 square meters of commercial space including offices, retail, and amenities around a central core and get a LEED Platinum rating for its sustainability features.
