- 1. DIFC Lighthouse The DIFC lighthouse will be a low-carbon commercial building for the Dubai International financial centre. The building plans to set a new benchmark for the region with its LEED platinum rating. Comprised of low carbon com- mercial towers that reduce the total energy consumption up to 65% and water consumption up to 40%. The structure will incorporates three large wind turbines on the top of the building and 84,000 square meters of com- mercial space that will include parking, a convention center, retail, 250 seat restaraunt, swimming pool, fully equipped gym, and an environmental visitor center and park all connected to the central spine of the building.
