Front Range Community College offers a Precision Machining Technology program to train students for in-demand machining jobs. There is a shortage of skilled machinists nationwide. Machinists can earn $28,000 or more for entry-level jobs, and senior machinists earn between $80,000 to $100,000 per year. The program offers daytime and evening classes in both credit and non-credit formats, allowing students to complete a course in as little as 10 weeks. Students learn both manual and CNC machining skills needed for jobs like machine operators, CNC programmers, engineers, and tool and die makers.
