ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.@CAWORLD #CAWORLD CA Identity Suite Virtual Appliance overview § Linux based platform § Includes an embedded Oracle 11g Express database (for demo and development purposes only) § Utilizes Wildfly as the application server for all front-end web applications (IDM, IG, IP) § A single image (OVA or AMI) that includes the full set of the CA Identity Suite products § Web interface controlling the configuration process, allowing the following options: – Deploy the full Identity Suite or a subset of the products – Use the embedded database or an external database – Deploy a single instance of a given service, or multiple instances to form a H/A cluster – Deploy all services on the same server, or distribute components across multiple servers

ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.@CAWORLD #CAWORLD CA Identity Suite Deployment Xpress overview § Deployment Xpress introduces a new concept of “Use Cases” which are composed of several logical elements in Identity Manager and Identity Portal, for example: – Admin Roles – Admin Tasks – Provisioning Roles § Deploying a Use Case provides a huge degree of simplification as it no longer requires the creation or duplication of those logical elements § The latest release (14.0) of CA Identity Suite introduces a Web Interface for Deployment Express where you can browse a Market Place of available Use Cases and deploy them in the system with just a few clicks § During a Use Case deployment – several layers of customization are provided, for example: – With or without approval workflow, and which workflow – What module will include the Use Case – Which Admin Role to use for controlling access to the Use Case – Forms – Target Permissions – Approval workflows
