Chimamanda Adichie gave a TED talk warning of the dangers of having a single story about other people and cultures. She discussed how easily stereotypes can form from only hearing one perspective, and emphasized the importance of seeking out and learning multiple stories from diverse voices to gain a more complete picture and avoid misrepresentation.
