- 3. What parts can I use from NZ maths on my plan? You can use the Strategies from NZ maths in your learning intentions box in your plan. You can use the numeracy books or examples as a part of the learning reinforcement. The references part (in the NZ maths plan) is a list of resources for the teacher to help teach their lesson. Students can also use equipment independently after the lesson. NZ maths can give you examples to fill into the knowledge activity box in your planning. NZ maths can also provide your Gloss and Numpa assessment sheets.
