- #4: It is very important to consider designing web sites with tablet and mobile technology in mind, as Forrester Research shows the # of US tablets sales to go from 10.3 million in 2010 to 24.1 million in 2011. Tablet sales are forecast to grow to 44 million units sold by 2015 when 82 million people in the US will own a tablet, one third of the online population (reported by TechCrunch on January 4, 2011.)\n
