 WORKING
 ADVANTAGES AND DISAVANTAGES
 A hollow container used to give shape to molten
or hot liquid material when it cools and hardens.
 A coating is a covering that is applied to the surface
of an object, usually referred to as the substrate.
The purpose of applying the coating may be
decorative, functional, or both.
 The Mould Coating (MC) process is a specially
developed process where plastic components are
coated in the tool via so-called negative moulds during
production.

CMS SPUNCOAT Graph coat S Graphdip S
GW Spray
 It is a water based
graphitic coating.
Used as a die-release-
agent in the centrifugal
casting.
It is supplied in a ready-
to-use form for application
by spraying method.
It can readily be diluted
with water if required to
suit other application.
 Grey-black Solvent
Based Graphitic coating
for foundry cores and
moulds
Efficient penetration and
coverage to provide
maximum protection.
CMS GRAPHCOAT S-
SPRAY is suitable for all
types of chemically
bonded cores
Produces a hard, silky
coating finish
Recommended for
coating of cores made
from all chemical sands
that are used for light to
medium section irons and
non-ferrous metals
It minimises and, in most
cases eliminates, surface
defects.
CMS GRAPHDIP S
exhibits excellent wetting
properties
 Vacuum forming is a simplified version of thermoforming,
where a sheet of plastic is heated to a forming temperature,
stretched onto a single-surface mold, and forced against the
mold by a vacuum.
 Sheets of Polypropylene, Polyethylene, PVC and Acrylic
