Midland Networks was established in 2005 as the IT division of Midland Telecom Group and became an independent company in 2007. Since then, it has expanded its services to include hosted networks, data centers, telephone systems, mobile phones, and a private mobile network. Midland Networks aims to provide all communication and IT needs through one bill and supports large clients such as Thomas Cook, CAFCASS, and various UK councils.

History of Midland Networks 2005 on • Established 2005 as I.T Division of Midland Telecom Group • Focused on IT Support & VoIP systems Installation • Became separate Limited Company in 2007 • Purchased own hosted telephony platform and billing systems January 2007 and began supply of hosted telephony services • April 2007 began supply of Broadband and Leased Line connections for our hosted telephony and I.T customers • Became separate limited company in July 2007 • Started supplying Telephone Lines and Calls to compliment our data and hosted telephone services in September 2007
History of Midland Networks 2008 on • Began supply of hosted networks and data centre services in April 2008 • Began direct supply of Telephone Systems in November 2008 • Director Buy-out from group in April 2010 • Moved offices to our own purchased building in July 2010 • Began supply of Mobile Telephones from Orange, Vodaphone and O2 in April 2011 • Started own mobile network backed by O2 in November 2011. Now Providing one bill for all services. • 24/7 Support for all customers started December 2011
