Question 5 My involvement with electronic communication (e-mail) is: Very minimal e-mail sent/received 20 e-mails per week (incoming/outgoing) At least a half-hour each day, up to a couple hundred e-mails per week E-mail is taking over my life
Question 6 I use a computer word processing program for: Nothing A few rough drafts, but not every week Pretty routinely throughout each week Daily for memos, rough and final drafts, agendas, etc.
Question 7 When it comes to electronic presentations, I: Only watch them Have tried to make a few (less than 10) Helped prepare or prepared more than 10 Can’t remember how I worked before I used them
Question 8 For me, using a handheld computing device is: Rare Occasionally Daily My life
Question 9 My overall comfort level in using technology to enhance personal productivity and efficiency is: Scary – Where is my pencil and paper? Somewhat comfortable – I like technology, but don’t have time to learn. Comfortable – It helps me and I like learning it. Beyond comfortable – I can’t wait to get the latest technology tool!
Question 10 My knowledge level regarding the integration of technology in classrooms for instruction is: Minimal – not sure what it looks like Moderate – I think I know it when I see it Operational – I know what to look for Mastery – I can demonstrate for my teachers how to integrate technology for instruction
Question 11 My comfort level in helping teachers to integrate technology into their daily lessons is: Very low – I’m not sure what works in classrooms relative to technology Improving – I know a few things that work and am learning more all the time Confident – I’m fine with technology and teaching, but don’t have a dynamic plan in place On-going – I have a plan and am moving forward
