The music video will tell the story of a heartbroken man trying to get over his lost love through the theme of romance. It will incorporate humor with stereotypical and exaggerated characters. Post-feminism views will be shown by portraying the main female character as dominant over male characters, while also using an attractive female as the male character's interest through the male gaze. The video aims to have a postmodern film style through its narrative focus and homages to movies like "Loser" and a Katy Perry music video.

- 2. Romance Our music video will include the theme of romance/relationship as the main character in the clip is heart broken and is trying to get over his love. The title of the song says it all: ‘tonight I will let you go’.
- 3. Humour/Comdey • We will try to make the video humorous by using stereotypical characters and over exaggerate their actions and personality.
- 4. • Feminism/Male gaze would be incorporated in our music video through the attractive female character who is the interest of the male character. Post-feminism we will also incorporated a post-feminism view through our music video by making the main female character appear dominant compared to the male characters.
- 5. • Post-modernism: We want our music video to mirror a film style because we mainly want to focus the narrative. We will be paying homage to movies such as ‘Loser’ (2002) and Katy Perry’s TGIF music video.
