- 2. • Editing to the beat is mainly important for us I believe because the beat changes frequently from a fast pace to a much slow pace beat. This is important for us to to get different shots in as we are trying to build a story with our video so with editing to the beat will allow us to take the opportunity to get the message across.
- 3. • Carol Vernallis studied editing and camerawork closely in music videos and said that editing was more likely to be seen in a music video because of the pace of beat and the particular shots you want to include. Base tracks are used to give the video structure and that's what we are willing to achieve. The camera shots may move in time with the music, this will be done during filming but during editing we will ensure that we match the pace of the music and any shots together so they can all link and fit in well.
- 4. • We follow the theory of Andrew Goodwin when he describes Amplification. We believe this suites us the best as there is going to be visual images that supports the lyrics of the song and add/give it more meaning. For example, with our somebody finding something beautiful we are going to show this through Bernard acting out what he found that was beautiful.
