Lighting can greatly impact the mood and details conveyed in a photograph. Studio lighting on a model shows facial details and shadows that suggest an unhappy mood, while natural light on a cat shows less detail without shadows. Candlelight creates dramatic shadows that change the mood, and natural sunlight on a sunny day shows detail and conveys a happy, peaceful look through the lighting. Flash focuses attention by illuminating the main subject.

- 2. Here is a picture of my model in a studio lit with an electronic light we can see here the detail in his face that the lighting gives us and it helps show us his facial movements and that he is not in a happy mood because of the light and shadow helping us show his mood.
- 3. Here we have a cat in natural lighting and although we can easily see him we cannot see as much detail as we could in the other one and we cannot see any shadows which give a dramatic effect and can help you portray a mood that you want an audience to feel.
- 4. We can see a dramatic lighting change with this candle and can see how its light and shadows give a dramatic look to the photograph and it effects the mood of the photograph greatly.
- 5. Here we have natural sun light on a sunny day showing a lot of detail and is helping give the photograph show a happy look due to the lighting and peaceful look the light is giving.
- 6. Here I have used flash on my camera to show the main focus of this photograph better with the light to show it easier and help give it a more noticeable look.
