- 2. Layout for music event posterArtist name Main image Additional information Venue For this layout I will start by having the artists name at the top. This is because the audience will look here first. I will do this because the audience may recognize the artist or bands name. if they do they are likely to look closer at the event poster. The audience may also like the sound of the name and the name will give off connotations. By this I mean that a heavy metal name will sound aggressive and will have negative connotations, for example slayer and megadeth. These names both sound quite aggressive and slayer has negative conations such as death and murder. This will then let the audience know if this is something they are into this is due to the name of the artist or band suggesting the genre of the music. The artist name will then be followed by a main image of the artist. This will then put a face to the name of the artist. This will then show the audience in a more detailed way if this is for them. This is due to the same reason of the picture suggesting the genre of the music, fir a second a heavy metal picture would include blood, metal and also negative elements. Another reason why the picture will appeal to the audience is because maybe they would recognize the audience and therefore they would be instantly more interested0, this is due to them feeling like this is a big event. The font for the artist will be large and will stick out. This is because I want it to stand out from a distance to the audience. This will be done by including bright colors and a noticeable font. The same will be done with the image in the scene I will include bright colors. Underneath the main image I will then include some additional information. This will be; ticket prices, date and supporting acts. This will just give the audience some more information. This will give them an idea how to book tickets or get them, how much they are and also when. This will make the audience question: is it too much, am I available then and how do I get tickets.
- 3. Photos or cinema graphs of the venues Title, this will be something like york music guide. Information about the venue This will be of an artist and will be on about their arrival to york. In this area I may also instead of an artist I may choose to include some art that relates to york.
- 4. • For my music venue guide I was initially going to do it as a print project. Now I am choosing to feature it on a website. This is because it would make more sense. This is due to the demographic being more likely to go on a website. Also doing it this way I can add more exiting elements one being cinema graphics. I am going to include these in my venue guide to make it look more interesting and exiting. These elements will provide the audience will more of an exiting experience when looking at this. • The website will be made on wix. This is because just is the most easy to use and can make it look like how I want it to. The layout of the website will be the same as the layout of which I was going to do on a double page spread. - 5. The title The title on my music guide poster will be bold. This will state to the audience what it is they are looking at. The font will be bold and will be unique. This will look tidy however will have music connotations. The title will be large so that the audience can see it from a distance and will also include bright colors or colors that stand out on the color scheme. Cinema graphs For my music guide video I will include some of these cinema graphs for music venues in york. These will be of either the interior or the exterior of them. One idea I have been thinking of is to have an exterior picture of the venue and have the sky moving. This will look different and less boring to the audience. This will draw their attention to it due to them being different.
- 9. Health And Saftey Issue resolution Hand brakes and cant do work. Ask tutor for help and practice with your other hand. Eye ache Have regular breaks from the computer screen and don’t stare in the same place at once. Back ache If your back ache then take a walk and stretch. Headache Stay hydrated. Cant come into college due to the snow Do work at home and access it via email or memory stick.
- 10. Contingency Planning Issue resolution Pc turns off Back up all the work onto a memory stick or save regularly onto the computer. Memory stick breaks. Back up onto computer or email your self it. spill water on mouse or keyboard , this will delay your work. Do not drink or eat near a computer. This will also distract you so that you are not working at the best of your ability. Computer freezes and shuts down Microsoft office or photoshop. save work constantly. Email your work to yourself after each lesson so if you do loose it you have a recent copy. Forget memory stick one day. get on with a later stage of the topic , this is so that you can insert the earlier part when you find your memory stick.
