This document summarizes research conducted on Haldiram's market share for namkeen snacks in Delhi. It finds that Haldiram has over double the market share of its competitors. While Haldiram has very high brand awareness, retailers receive higher margins for local brands than for Haldiram. To increase supply, Haldiram could provide better schemes and margins to retailers. The research was conducted through interviews with 250 retailers over 14 days.
