- 2. Contingency Plan Potential Problem Effect on Production Control/mitigation No equipment available to use for production. May be unable to get footage or will be delayed during the production time. Book equipment out in advance so I will have piece to gain footage with. Locations may be closed or unable to use. Unable to gain certain footage on the days planned to do it. Make sure to have other locations to use, or to plan ahead and make sure it is open before going. Equipment may break or get ruined. May be unable to use equipment again, will also have to pay a large amount. Make sure to keep it all in a safe area where people won’t be able to trip or break it . People may trip over and injure themselves. May be unable to help gain footage and may delay production. Make sure to be careful and to leave items in safe areas and out of peoples way. My cast and crew may be unable to turn up on some days as they may have other plans or may be unwell. This will delay production and can slow down the rest of the FMP’s process and may be difficult to plan a day when everyone is free. Create a plan of what days everyone is free so that we know when we can film and where there won’t be a problem for anything and everyone.

Technical Problems • May be unable to book all equipment that is needed on days of production. • Cables and lighting may be a tripping hazard if not placed in a safe area which is out of the way. • May be unable to collect good enough footage or audio for my final piece of work. • Batteries may run out and we may not have any extra so this will cause a delay with filming and will stop the production process. • We may lose some of our footage due to there being a problem with the camera or software we are using.

Experiments plan • Find different locations to gain footage and decide where would be the best place to use when filming my final piece of work. • I would like to use different techniques and effects that I could incorporate in my final piece. • I could use different camera angles and shots to get a range of footage. • I can use a range of locations throughout the project, this will stop it from being restricted to one place, and will show the variety of places you can use for my audience.

Past Problems • In past projects I have problems such as with equipment, cast and crew and also personnel problems, this caused a lack of production time and also caused a delay in all stages of my project, this lead to me working longer on one stage of my project compared to others and it also caused a lot of stress as it lead to me possibly not handing in my work on time. For this project I shall try stay to the time briefs and hand in my work on time, do extra work outside of lesson and ask for help if and when needed.
