- 2. Investigation My clients problem is to create a website about her clinic to show her patients information regarding time and the location of her clinic. It would also contain methods of her treatment and other information required to meet her expectations. I have found similar website solving similar situations which gave me ideas on what I should put in my project.
- 3. Similar ideas I have found similar ideas from the internet that are relevant to my clients website. I have chose these websites because they have similar specification to what my client has expected. Through these ideas I have picked a few ideas which I will use to satisfy my clients expectations. An idea I have found that is useful is the toolbar which would allow users to find pages easily. I would also make a header as shown in both the screenshots. I think this would be suitable for my project because it attracts customers and help my client to gather more patients. To do this, I would have to use Dreamweaver or Fireworks to make.
- 4. Similar ideas continued I also decided to use the layout in these following slides because this is the most convenient view for people to search and read information. I find layouts like this simple but affective. The use of images in the first screenshot is also appropriate to attract patients into reading the information and give them visual views which may help readers.
- 5. How will my project be different to the others. For my project, I intend to make the header and pictures with slideshows similar to banner adds. This is different to other websites which the banner only shows 1 image. I think this is appropriate because it will give readers a better view of images and allowing them to view the images without scrolling down or clicking links to the pictures.
- 6. How I will create my project To make the website I would require a decent website creator such as Dreamweaver. This website is good because it assist me to edit the JavaScript to make my website better. And in order to create the banner ads, I would require Flash, which would allow me to do it.
