This project involves kindergarten students studying animals for 12 weeks to learn about their needs for survival. The students will each select an animal to research. As a final product, students will work in groups based on their selected animal to create flyers with drawings and text about ideas to protect animals. They will also create an educational video about animal protection. The flyers and video will be shared in the community to teach others. Students will take field trips and learn from experts like zookeepers and veterinarians to gain more knowledge for their research.
