This project aims to develop an online bidding system to streamline the project bidding process for both buyers and programmers. The proposed system allows users to bid on projects through a web application, eliminating the need for manual paper-based bidding. This reduces time spent, workload, and the risk of losing bids compared to the existing manual system. The proposed system will be developed using ASP.net and have modules for administrators, buyers and programmers.

- 2. PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT Project bid Management is aimed at developing an online bidding that is of importance to either to buyers and also to programmers. The project bidding is an Internet based application that can be accessed throughout the world.
- 3. Existing systems : In these Existing systems the work is done manually through papers. People used to come to the organization and they have to bid or post the project which has become a hectic task.
- 4. Drawback of Existing system 1.) Here every thing is manual processing it means time consumption is more. 2.) Burden on the Programmers/buyer/company is more. 3.) Burden on the Administration dept is more. 4.) There may be a chance to loose the project.
- 5. Proposed Systems : In this proposed systems the bidding of the project is done through internet as it is an internet based web application. The business man or the home makers can bid the project directly if they have the facility of internet. So there is no wastage of time and we all know that internet provides a lot of security.
- 6. Advantages of Proposed System Programmers can directly bid for project. Programmers also see the status of the project that may be open /closed. User Friendly Environment (GUI). So that programmers/buyers will use this software very easily
- 7. Hardware and software requirements Hardware requirements: pentiumIII processor 128MB Ram 2GB hard disk space Software requirements Asp.net,network frame work sdk2.0 Sql server 2000 Windows 2000 and above
- 8. MODULES : This project contains three modules: Administrator Buyer and 3. Programmer
- 35. CONCLUSION It is easy to use, since it uses the GUI provided in the user dialog. User-friendly screens are provided. The usage of software increases the efficiency, decreases the effort.
