The Healthy Minds for Healthy Lives (HMHL) project proposal aims to enhance the mental health and self-esteem of homeless youth at the Youth Without Shelter (YWS) in Toronto through diverse social programming over a 15-month period. With a budget of $95,000, the program addresses the barriers faced by these youths by providing various activities designed to foster skill development, community engagement, and overall well-being, ultimately empowering them towards self-sufficiency. By improving mental health, the program seeks to create sustainable positive changes within the Greater Toronto Area's homeless youth population.
