Project work is ideal for teaching primary school children for several reasons. It integrates different activities into a coherent end product, giving children a sense of achievement. Project work educates the whole child by developing their intellectual, physical, social, and emotional skills. It also allows children to learn through experience and integrates language skills naturally as children use language to complete the project. Project work has other advantages like catering to different abilities, needs, and interests in a mixed ability class.
