-Introduction:
The web portal is a one stop knowledge shop of extensive from all sources all over the
world that can be accessed with no effort at one location. It provides a gateway or entry point to
various sources and resources dealing with a specific topic. Portal is a term, generally
synonymous with gateway, for a World Wide Web site that is or proposes to be a major starting
site for users when they get connected to the Web or that users tend to visit a an anchor site.
The web portal has become an essential part of the world to do shopping or getting
information from specific website, and booked a flight while you are setting in your home, office
and more. In the following topics we will introduced our logic and idea of using the web portal.
-Background of our field:
Through our daily life we found that websites are becoming more consultation in
business field.
That’s why we were trying to build a websites that makes our customers feel more
comfort we began to sell this kind of article since 2001 in Aden-Yemen within (compact disc).
And we start to provide to people a collection of Movies (CD, DVD), Programs, Music (A huge
compilation of Arabic and English- Old and new songs) as best we could, Video games like (PS-
1, PS-2), and working on 3D design.
Since we were business in the same time we wonder why we don’t make a website that
gives to our customers a collection and ability to look what we had.
So we start to think about it, and it took from us a long time. What we going to include in
the website? And what we have to write? To make our goods looks good to the users or visitors,
later we start writing titles that could help us of what to do.

We start working on the project later after we plan for every section of our business with
all power we had to get it done. Because we were thinking further about our future business, and
the project will carry the name of TOP-DISC under the internet-cafe TOP-NET.
-Objective:
Our team plan for five important points that we insure must be there to help our business
and customers.
 To make the list of what we have easy to find and to know.
 What we offer to the buyers and what are the promotions that we have.
 The prices for each CD or DVD.
 The latest stuff we have from Movies, Games, and Music.
 And the other things like: the time the order can be ready, how you can contact with us
through the sites, and our services that we provide.
-Scope:
The opportunity for our project is to get more than we expect by roaming around and
buying our goods, and save more time and work much better in good circumstances.
-Web Development:
In the part of our project we used a couple of programs that was really benefits to us and
they are: Web expression (front page 2007) for creating the pages of our website and adjust
everything inside the pages, for the interactive we used flash program within pictures and audio
in the first page of the website that will make the visitor feel amazed since he get inside the
website, and we used three kinds of JavaScript that make some facilities in the website.
