What is the Pythagorean Theorem?   Pythagorean Theorem is a relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle   The variables stands for the unknown Hypotenuse We use a right triangle in Pythagorean Theorem
:  Pythagorean Theorem example slide   a2 + b2 = c2  5 2 +  12 2 = c2  169 = c2  C=13
Distance Formula explanation slide   Distance Formula is Distance is a numerical description of how far apart objects are. In physics or everyday discussion, distance may refer to a physical length, or an estimation based on other criteria   The steps you take for distance formula is you have to subtract x2-x1 and y2-y1, then square root both answers and add them together. Then finally square root the answer.
