- 2. Use We used close ups in the trailer to show facial expressions and emotions of the characters. The close ups on the main character help show the audience if she is the evil character but also hint that there is something more as to why she is doing evil things to the other characters.
- 3. Challenge The locations we used were typical to the genre. However we filmed the scenes during the day which is why un-stereotypically the lighting is high key rather than low key, although it goes against the genre it shows the contrast between the scenes in the asylum.
- 4. Challenge • We used voiceovers in the trailer however we used all female voicemails rather than male voice over for saying dates and coming soon. We used these as they were character voice overs and they showed characters views and gave more insight to the storyline.
- 5. Develop We created our own new soundtrack on garage band. We created a base sound that runs through out the trailer and then sound effects using drinking glasses and our sound effects such as bangs to add tension. The sound fits well with the genre and adds more tension to trailer.
