- 3. Abcom LabourGuard is a combination of a robust Touch Screen Windows PC utilising Abcom’s time and attendance propriety software. LabourGuard is unique amongst time & attendance devices as it receives regular automated Award and Employee Updates direct from your Abcom Payroll Application. With Award Rules built into the device it can then reduce opportunity for Award breaches. These rules can then be applied at the clock face when these options are enabled.
- 4. • Option to send Rosters to Time clock to “block” unauthorised “early starters” or “Buddy Clocking.” • Ensure minimum hours between shifts is maintained with “lock out” periods. • Minimum shift lengths for Casual, Part Time or Full timers and especially public holidays. • Ensure minimum times are met before a break can be taken. • Enforce that a 30 minute break is not 29 minutes. • Record the “Paid Drink Break” events without a deduction of time paid. • The ability to “dock” the difference when the serial “abusers” of extended “Paid Drink Breaks” that can run overtime.

- 7. Predictive Clockings LabourGuard will use predictive time punches based on previous or same day and earlier time punches.
- 8. In the unlikely event staff will forget to clock out from a previous shift and where more than twelve hours have passed since the last clocking LabourGuard TM will provide the option to reset the clock back to a “Clock On” event.
