Ways to approach the quality
improvement Process
 Quality improvement is the back bone of the products in
Organizations. In organization Six Sigma concept is used to
improve the process for quality product.
 Six sigma consistent the quality management techniques to
improve the product or service.
 In today’s, organization using such many ways to improve
the quality of the product.
ISO 9001:2015
This methodology is used to development of the
organization growth and process to achieve
the Objectives.
QFD (Quality Function Deployment) is a Mathematical deployment tool
which is used to analyze and identify the customer requirements and
improve the process.
Kaizen is a long term process to
continuous improvement in order to
improve the Quality and Efficiency.
Zero defect is a management tool which helps to reduce the wastages
in the project. It also defined as 3.4 defects per million opportunities.
DR. W. Edwards introduce this four concept such as (Plan, do, check, and
act) for the process improvement.
Plan – Process to improve
Do – Implement & measuring
its performance
Check– Take the Measurements
to assess for the
objective results
Act - Improve the Process.
◦ A team of employees which works for the improvement process in
Organization.
Taguchi is a statistical method which is developed by Genichi Taguchi
to improve the quality and ensuring good performance in
the design stage of products or processes.
TQM is a Total Quality Management Technique approach to improve
the customer experience and quality and performance.
