- 2. We used many technologies in the construction of our products these will be shown and discussed here. After discussing what genre trailer, poster and magazine cover we were going to create, we had to get some feed back off people regarding what should be in the products we would create. To get this feedback we used photo booth on the Macs, and to display the research that we had recorded we used blogger. This was a very good tool to display our work, because it was easy to access and allowed us to be as creative as possible.
- 3. After we knew what type of film we were doing we had to create a storyboard for the trailer, and having a plot would make it easier to create an affective trailer. We used paper and pens to create the storyboards, and for the flat plans of the poster and magazine cover. We then scanned them in to post on our blogs.
- 4. During this project we used the iMacs in the Media rooms. This is because they allowed us too use Final Cut, unlike windows. Using this program I would help make our trailer better by using professional software. We also used camcorders to film to footage for the trailer. This was useful because it allowed us to film onto an SD card allowing for easier transfer of the footage to Final Cut. To make shots stable when filming we used a tripod
- 5. We used a few different websites with copyright free music to create the soundtrack, and used headphones to find suitable sounds. This is because we found that it would be easier than creating music from scratch and joined it all together. We joined the music all together with the shots we had filmed in Final Cut. This also meant we could match the music with the shots.
- 6. We used a camera to take photos for the magazine cover and poster. Using such as good camera allowed us to take the best shots, in the highest quality. This makes our magazine covers look a lot better.
- 7. To evaluate our work we used various tools such as Sliderocket, Slideshare, Prezi, and a normal blog post. This allowed me to add lots of detail to each post more than in a video. To show our work we used YouTube for the trailer and a normal blog post for the poster and magazine cover. We also tried to make them high quality conversions for the final products.
