- 2. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the productIn the filming process we came across some problems but they weren't meager ones. One of the problems was the location of where we filmed our opening sequence, the lighting was poor but we resolved this problem by using the lamps that were provided to us so we got the right effect that we wanted to. We also found that the camera took a while to focus in on what we were shooting but we believed it might have been the way that we set up the lamps. So we would use the lamps in different ways to get the right affect next time.In the editing process we learnt all of the basics, these were how to edit our film effectively and also we learnt how to extract you tube videos and convert them into an mp3 file. The main effect that we used the most is the effect which changes clips from color to black and white to get the genre right.
- 3. What we have learnt and progressed through out the projectThroughout the process of making the storyboard and planning our film we did some research for our film noir opening sequence. We found it hard to agree on a idea for our film that we both liked. During our research we both found that we liked the opening sequence of the film ‘Seven’, we liked how seven directed their film so we produced scenes similar to theirs. At this stage we both knew a lot about the different types of editing, this made editing our film a lot easier and saved a lot of time. We both agree that we need to spend more time planning what we are going to do next time as we didn’t plan enough and this really affected us both. We both learnt a lot about the different camera shots and this helped both of us in during producing opening sequence.

What we have learnt whilst producing our opening sequence?We both agreed we feel a lot more confident whilst using all of the equipment, we have also spent a lot of time using the different editing programs such as live type, final cut etc. We both feel confident in using these programs. We are quite happy with our final cut, it could still be improved if we had more time but to be honest we ran out of time as we did not stick to our initial plan.This shows two different styles we used in our opening sequence.
