- #4: Jason is a rising senior at the University of Michigan and is looking for full-time positions in software engineering. Looking to enter the industry with a Forbes 100 tech company, he applies to the University New Grad positions at Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Facebook. All 4 applications are due tomorrow morning, the same day as his EECS 482 exam. Therefore, Jason does not have much time to create a custom cover letter for each application that requires it. This results in Jason submitting a generic cover letter or not submitting one at all.
- #5: Rachel is a freshman at the University of Michigan studying computer science. She doesn’t have any previous experience but has recently learned about freshman opportunities such as Google Engineering Practicum and Amazon Future Engineers. She doesn’t have a cover letter and needs help writing one.
