2. He was a Greek philosopher who disregarded Leucippus’ and Democritus’ ideas on the
existence of atoms.
3. It is a Greek word which means indivisible.
4. Aside from atom, it is also one major component or principle of nature.
5. He proposed that everything in the universe is composed of four elements: earth, fire, water,
and air.
