If turtles eat these plastic rings, it's bad for
them. They might think the plastic is food, but
it's not. Eating it can make them sick and even
cause them to die. This is a big problem
because there's already too much plastic in
the oceans, and it's hurting marine animals like
turtles.

Why should we not pour
chemicals or oil into
rivers or lakes?
Q1.
The Answer Is:
It can make the water dirty
and harm fish and other
animals that live in it.
Imagine you're playing
with a toy car. If you
push the car forward,
what happens? Does it
move away from you or
towards you? Why do you
think that is?
Q2.
The Answer Is:
When you push a toy car forward, it
moves away from you. This happens
because the force you apply with
your hand pushes the car in the
same direction as your push. So, it
moves away from you because your
push moves it in that direction.
Why do some birds, like
penguins, have
waterproof feathers?
Q3
The Answer Is:
Birds like penguins have waterproof
feathers to keep them dry and
insulated in their cold, aquatic
habitat.
How do scissors function
as a lever, and which
type of lever do they
represent? Explain the
reason behind your
answer.
Q4.
The Answer Is:
Scissors are a type of lever known
as a class 1 lever. This is because
the fulcrum, or pivot point, is
located between the effort (your
hand squeezing the handles) and the
load (the material being cut).
Why do polar bears have
a thick layer of blubber
under their skin?
Q5.
The Answer Is:
Polar bears have a thick layer of
blubber to keep them warm in their
icy Arctic habitat and to provide
energy when food is scarce.
Have you ever noticed
what happens when you
pull a wagon? Which way
does the wagon move?
Why does pulling it make
it move in that direction?
Q6.
The Answer Is:
When you pull a wagon, it moves behind
you or towards you. This happens
because the force you apply by pulling
the handle of the wagon moves it in the
direction you pull. So, if you pull the
handle towards yourself, the wagon
moves towards you.
