Before we get startedDisclaimer:Facebook seems to change it’s format, structure, policy, language, etc. frequently.  With those factors considered, this presentation is updated frequently, but probably still contains incorrect references or information inadvertently.  Furthermore, many Facebook users have described Facebook’s performance as “glitchy” because of error messages, screen formatting issues, delays, and other “glitches” that occur during their use of Facebook.  While such “glitches” could be caused by various factors including computer capacity, internet speed, user abilities and errors, it is worth noting that Facebook is still commonly referred to as “glitchy” because of such challenges that users frequently face. (no pun intended).

You need a social media marketing plan:What are you trying to accomplish?
Who is your target audience?
What message will move your audience?
What vehicle do we have to deliver the   message?What are your resources?
How will you measure your  performance/success?Facebook
You need a social media marketing plan:Need calendar of planned activities (promotions, posts, etc.)
Integrate with overall business marketing plan
Include fan/follower interaction time (crucial)Page needs to stay fresh      and give followers a      reason to visit frequently      (just like good websites)Facebook
You need a social media policy:To protect you, your business, your employees, and your customers
Consult with your attorney
