On discovering a fire: • Raise the alarm • Proceed to the nearest available emergency exit. • Leave the building via the nearest exit. • Do not stop for personal belongings. • Follow instructions from the Instructors. • Report to muster point . • Await further instructions – do not re-enter the building until authorized to do so. • Do not run at any time – this can cause panic and is dangerous.

At the end of the course the participants shall be able to: • Demonstrate understanding on the principles of RADAR NAVIGATION, RADAR PLOTTING AND USE OF ARPA. • Perform the duties and responsibilities of each individual involved in NAVIGATION WATCH. • Outline necessary precautions in safe NVIGATION of Vessel. • Demonstrate competitiveness with RADAR / ARPA equipment.
