- 1. FADE IN: EXT. THE WOODS – DAY TIME The three characters enter the woods and set up camp. From this, faint diegetic music starts in the scene and gets louder. There can be laughing sounds coming from the characters. EXT. THE WOODS – NIGHT TIME By this time the characters have set up camp and it is now nighttime. There can be wildlife sounds heard. ANNA Are you sure we are allowed here? LUCY Of course we are. GEMMA Anna be careful. ANNA I’ll be ok. I won’t be long! Shortly after there will be a scream from ANNA in the woods and the girls will hear the scream from ANNA and then the reaction will be shown through the gasps of the characters. FADE OUT: FADE IN: EXT. THE WOODS – NIGHT TIME The girls start running to the sound from ANNA. This is when the non- diegetic music starts to show the panic from the girls. GEMMA (PANIC) ANNA! ANNA! LUCY ANNA WHERE ARE YOU? There will be sounds of heavy breathing as the characters are running towards the scream and through the woods FADE OUT: EXT. THE WOODS – NIGHT TIME In this scene the girls are searching the woods with their torches. LUCY WHO’S OTHER THERE? WHAT DO YOU WANT?
- 2. There will be the sound of movement coming from the trees and GEMMA sees something move and gasps. GEMMA (GASPS) Did you see that? We need to get out of here! INT. TENT – NIGHT TIME One of the girls hide in the tent and there is a shadow behind her. There is a sound of heavy breathing and footsteps occurring in this scene and one of the other girls are hiding behind a tree LUCY (WHISPERS) Get me out. Get me out. EXT. THE WOODS – NIGHT TIME There is a sound of LUCY running away LUCY (PANIC) Help! Then there comes sound of LUCY hitting the ground and screams and appears to be dragged across the ground, away with the antagonist. There are several more scenes that proceed after this but contain no dialogue
