In this vocabulary activity we learned a lot of adverbs and
prepositions that are not very common in the spoken
language.
We think we have done enough crosswords
during this process. Try to be more creative
and innovate the way to do the activity.

examples from the book made us comprehend more
easily these aspects.
The exercise was fine, but you should have
done it in a more entertained way.

In this session we learned a lot of new vocabulary and its correct pronunciation. Also, we learned to work better as a
group and it gave us many positives aspects that will be very useful for our future advances in the language.

We noticed that our intonation problems are getting better. Also, we are stressing the words on the right
syllable.
What are the recommendations as a group?
We are having too much homework assignments and we are not dedicating enough time to make the
activities, so we should be more willing and able to complete the tasks.

Word collector
The words used in this vocabulary were really new for us, so
that we did learned something new. The activity was made in a
creative way and everybody enjoyed doing it.
Few words for the activity. Try to find more.
Sound dealer We noticed that since these stories are written in British
English, we could identify and made some comparisons
between this accent and the American one. Also the activity
helped us to study for the final exam.
Good Job!
Critical listener We corrected our pronunciation mistakes, the partner made us
repeat the words that we had produced in a wrong way until
we achieve the right pronunciation. This was very important
because we feel that we did improved and we won’t make the
same mistakes.
Try to be more patient with the people that have
a slower learning process, and don`t get angry
when someone can’t produce certain sound.

It was a very interesting idea to do this activity in this way
(using Educaplay) because it wasn’t boring and we used
strategies learned in other subjects of the program.

Since this was the last session, we focus on reviewing all the things we’ve learned during this semester. We really think
we learned a lot because of this project and the blog was a very useful tool to improve our progress in the acquisition of
the language.

One of the things we enjoyed most was that we used the website “Educaplay” to do the activities. This was very
entertained and different from the last ones.
What are the recommendations as a group?
Try to keep in mind all of the suprasegmental aspects of the language and practiced a lot in order to internalize them for
your everyday speech.
