- 1. I have known Erin Knowles in an academic and professional development capacity for nearly 2.5 academic years and have found her to be honest, reliable, conscientious and courteous at all times. At Plymouth University I manage Plymouth University Professional Opportunities Scheme (PUPOS). Erin has worked within music education roles several times and her professional attitude and no nonsense approach to organisation has impressed me. Erin has successfully managed music education teams secondary schools in Plymouth and has been a successful team leader who is appreciated equally by her team, the school staff and the school children. The team managerial roles are a mixture of teaching, managing and organising plans, people and equipment for weekly school music enrichment sessions. These demand an ability to organise many aspects at one time and manage people in an appropriate fashion. These roles also require an aptitude for quick learning and a confident communication with educational authorities. Erin is currently midway through her final year on the Music BA degree at Plymouth University and is doing a good job both academically and practically. Erin has worked hard to overcome any initial issues she encountered in HE and she is on course for a respectable degree. Erin is a well-liked student who is consistent regarding University assessments and PUPOS responsibilities.
