Aaron and I worked together to build a robot modeled after a flip phone. We initially planned to include sensors on the back so that waving a hand would cause the phone to open and lights and motors inside to turn on. However, we found it too difficult to implement the flipping mechanism due to motor placement issues. We also had to add counterweights to prevent the motors and screen from flipping the phone over. In the end, we completed the project by giving the phone an orange colored touch overlay.

Reflection robot
- 1. I worked with Aaron as my partner to build this robot. At first we started to throw tons of ideas out as one of us said how about a flip phone! we both agreed, and a flip phone we started to make! In the beginning we were going to make the sensor in the back of the phone and then when you wave your hand the phone would open up and then all the lights and motors on the inside would come on. Once we started to make the phone, we came to the conclusion that it was too hard to make the phone flip open, because motors wouldn't set up correctly, so we then started to place the motors in the phone we found a big problem. We had to somehow counteract the weight so that the weight of the motors in the screen part didn't flip the phone over. We finally finished it by adding a touch over orange the color of the phone!
