Focused on providing the following services to homeless, unemployed,
underemployed men, including, but not limited to veterans and ex-offenders:
R.E.I.G.N.
 Renewed with a sense of importance to society, family and friends.
 Empowered by the knowledge that what they bring to the table is of significance.
 Influential to those in similar situations. Living life as an example that with hard
work and the right support, adversity can be overcome.
 Galvanized by the strength and encouragement gained through interactions with
those who believe in the possibility of success.
 Necessary to impact peers and move forward in the reintegration into society as a
representation of optimism and opportunity.
Council on Homlessness Report
• According to the Council on Homelessness 2013 Report, men make up 67% of the
homeless population in Florida. In 2014, the recorded percentage sits at 65%.
• A large caveat to this count is that homeless persons living in rehabilitation facilities nor
those staying with family or friends.
Current Available Resources
• Many forms of assistance are focused on women and children
• Very few are focused primarily on men.
• Some homeless shelters and rehabilitation facilities are focused on
men.

• In order to turn the tides of the growing epidemic of homelessness:

Participants must meet certain benchmarks:
• Active Participation
• Course Completions
Positive Financial Impact
Substantive employment generates:
• Monetary feed into the local economy
• Positive impacts to the local tax rolls
• Reduce dependence on government assistance
• Incentivizes new business in the downtown area
• Reduced contact with the corrections system
Reinforce Family Dynamics
Having a gainfully employed Father in the home will:
• Reinforce the family structure
• Provide a positive male role model for children
• Reduce juvenile delinquency
Recidivism Reduction
Providing meaningful employment:
• Reduces the possibility of return to incarceration
• Reduces the opportunity for juveniles to enter into or return to
incarceration
