- 13. • Culture eats strategy for breakfast • What does this mean? • As systems become more complex traditional command and control and strategic alignment become impossible • Culture is behavioural • People will move in the right direction on instinct • A stronger shared culture not a strategy? Complex interlinked system going forward

- 15. The Cake Model of Partnership • How do you eat your cake? • Take your piece, eat it in the corner and tell us how good it tasted every few months • Stay at the table, eat it socially and collaboratively • Bit messier but probably more fulfilling
