This document contains information about representing population data from 19 community development (CD) blocks in Birbhum district, West Bengal, India using proportional circles. The total population of each block was used to calculate the radius of a proportional circle for that block based on the formula where radius is equal to the square root of the total population over pi. A map of Birbhum district was then created showing the proportional circles for each block's population. The map interpretation is that population distribution across blocks is uneven, with some blocks like Murarai-II and Nanoor having high population pressure compared to blocks like Rajnagar and Suri-II with lower population pressure.
