Topic of the proposed research project: Environmental sustainable design usually refers to the philosophy for designing the physical objects, services and the built environment for complying with the principle of ecological sustainability. Aim/objectives/key research question: The current research project assignment aims to plan the suburbs in a way where every household will generate their own share of Oxygen. The location proposed is the city of Perth, Australia. The objectives of the research project assignment would be as follows: • To critically evaluate the planning of the Perth suburbs that might help the household for generating their own Oxygen share • To analyse the danger level for the decline of the atmospheric oxygen • To understand the ways why the oxygen level has been depleting • To recommend potential solution for mitigating the issues efficiently In order to achieve research aim in this research project assignment, the learner has developed the following research questions: • What is the planning of Perth suburbs that might help the household for generating their own Oxygen share? • What is the impact of danger level for the decline of the atmospheric oxygen? • How the oxygen level has been depleting presently? • What could be the potential solution for mitigating the issues efficiently?

PLANNING RESEARCH PROJECT A 2 Relevance of the research project: Environmental change currently has been presenting themselves as permanent or temporary to the water, atmosphere and land due to irresponsible activities by human beings. It has a serious impact that is irreversible in most cases (Wheeler, 2000). The Earth’s oxygen level are usually controlled by the global system that is complex, however due to increased pollution and human activities, the level has been declining by around 0.7% each year (Khatib, 2016). Hence a planning should be done that would strategically plan the suburbs of Perth in a way where every households will generate their own Oxygen share (Walliman, 2017). Finding a plan for the Perth suburbs, which will help the household for generating their own share of Oxygen. Analysing the danger in this research project assignment, level for the declining atmospheric Oxygen will also be useful (Siew, 2016). The ways why Oxygen level has been declining and to recommend potential solution that would help in mitigating the issues would also be obtained from the result analysed (Quinlan et al. 2019).
