ResourceSpace is a free and open source digital asset management system designed to reduce administrative overhead by allowing users to access assets themselves. It was originally developed for Oxfam and has since been used by many organizations worldwide. ResourceSpace is completely web-based, works across browsers and platforms, and enables users to ingest, annotate, catalog, store, and share digital assets throughout their lifecycle.

- 2. is a free and open source digital asset management system, with a strong focus on usability. It has been designed to be deployed organisation- wide, so users can help themselves to assets, thus reducing administrative overheads.
- 3. ResourceSpace was originally developed for Oxfam. Since the open source release, ResourceSpace has been used by many organizations around the world, both commercial and non-profit.

- 6. Works with all major browsers on all the popular platforms, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera — and Internet Explorer back to version 7. Mac, Linux and Windows compatible on both the server and desktop.
- 7. A DAM system enables you to control and manage digital assets throughout their lifecycle. You can ingest, annotate, catalog, store and share digital assets. Here are a few examples: 1) Comment on artwork in one central location. 2) Allow access to assets by user rights so that your partners can easily find and download the assets they need.
- 8. 3) Maintain multiple versions of a video under one URL, reducing the possibility of outdated versions being used. 4) Include usage guidelines with logos or brand assets. 5) Access archived marketing materials to inform projects in development
- 9. ResourceSpace is HTML standards based and supports older browsers, but will make use of HTML5 to augment the experience when available. Many metadata standards are supported including EXIF, IPTC, Adobe XMP and GPS (Geolocation).
