Validation of the various transformations taking place related to schema for various tables by creating complex queries. Validation of data warehouse tables and dimensions and facts related to it. PROJECT DETAILS Project #1: Project Title HANA Common Data Foundation Technology ETL Testing, Database Testing, SAP HANA, Teradata, Radar, BOBJ Reports Description Project deals with the creation of a Common Data Foundation layer in SAP HANA Database which would work as a common platform for the data extraction for all the application across all the domains rather than pulling it directly from Source SAP and decreasing the performance of the Database. It will reduce the processing time of data from Source to Target as in HANA latest data will reach target in no time. Project #2: Project Title Apple Order Proposal Technology ETL Testing, Database Testing, Teradata, UDM, Radar, BOBJ Reports Description Projects involved estimation of profit of different products to help Reseller to order. Data will get loaded through UDM. It will flow to BOBJ Report via Common Data Foundation Layer (CDF) which takes care of all the transformations. Project #3: Project Title Report Testing and Data Migration Testing from Vertica to SAP Hana DB Technology Teradata , SAP HANA Database, Python Automation , Tableau Reporting ,CA Workload Automation Description • An Apple application Reports were migrated from Vertica to SAP HANA database. The Testing of the Tables and the architecture from As-Is to To-Be system was done using Python Automation testing. • The SQL Queries were written for Vertica and corresponding Hana Queries were executed using the Python Automation Testing. • Final Reports were validating by forming different scenarios. - 4. Project #4: Project Title Test Data Management Using CA TDM and CA TCO for MRB Application Technology CA ARD , CA TDM, Teradata Database, CA Workload Automation. Description • MRB application for Apple dealt with the billing management between Apple and its Resellers. • The application dealt with Monthly Recurring Billing where on each month the billing between Apple and Reseller is managed by generating the invoices and managing the transactions. The TDM project deals with creation of synthetic data or sub setting from Production data by use of tools: CA Agile Designer and CA Data Maker. • Creation of data is required to serve the data needs of various teams. • There were 10 tables where the data were made synthetically and covering various scenarios. • Expected output was created by our team and actual output was created by running the jobs on the synthetic data created by us and hence the expected output and the actual output were compared and the defects were raised. Role • Analysis of Requirement document, Effort estimation. • Preparation of Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Scenarios for all Modules of the Application. • Creation of TCO flow in Agile Designer • Setting the variables in Agile Designer by using Test Data, Make and Find Data options in the workflow • Creation of test cases using path explorer for various optimal paths • Creation of functions for various columns present in tables involved in the process • Use of Test Match conditions • Generation of data and publish the data to Target tables/files using the TDM tool • Giving KT to new joiners on the new tools. • Collaboration with CA team on various issues related to the tool.
