The students at Istituto Comprensivo San Giovanni Bosco in Catania, Italy have created a collecting point in their school as part of a Comenius project called G.R.E.E.N. They have prepared pictures and posters to teach other students the proper places to dispose of paper, plastic, glass, and other waste materials. Each week, volunteer students visit the classrooms to collect the waste, which is then brought outside and disposed of in the waste paper bin. The students are proud of their work recycling waste and have made a paper tree to demonstrate how paper can be reused.
