This paper reviews e-learning technologies, focusing on the role of monitoring tools like the Monitoring and Analysis Tool for the E-Learning Program (MATEP) used to enhance learning paths and evaluate learner performance. It discusses the importance of blended learning strategies, the use of avatars for interaction, and the need for effective tracking of learner activities in virtual environments. The findings indicate a growing trend in e-learning adoption, the effectiveness of avatars in facilitating interaction, and the necessity for further enhancement of monitoring tools to meet educational needs.
