WEIGHBRIDGE APPLICATION: • The option is best suited for industries such as weigh stations, bulk grain operations, mining operations where RidgeWeigh can take two separate measurements to calculate the net weight. • RidgeWeigh is designed in a manner that it reads data from the indicator eliminating tampering of data. First time users are given a 30 day trial period for which they can use the software, to purchase the unique product key, use the unique secrete code provided to you as shown in the window above.
- 2. The software provides three database management system choices that one can select from. The local host database is embeded within the system and does not require further configuration. On selecting the database, a firstime Administrative account is created with all privillages added to the system. The administrator has to change the password after loging into the system. The application provides security with user authentication required before gaining access to any transactional information.
- 3. Authorized personnel are provided with easy to use menu bar to help navigate through the different services provided in the application. The maintenance tab provides configuration settings usined in the day to day operations. The company profile tool requires informamtion about the company including the address and telephone number. Acompany profile is a preriquisite. This information is reflected in the reciepts when printed. The SMS comfiguration form provides input of up to three mobile numbers to send SMS’ to. For this to be successful, a modem with the capability to send sms’ is requred

The home tab provides access to forms for daily operations, the weigh form bellow displays live data from the weigh bridge, weigh platform and axel weigh bridges depending on which has been configured to work with the system. The report bellow the fields of entry give quick access to the day’s operations that have been recorded, allowing for updates and data recapturing.
- 5. The report form bellow displays operation data form the start of software usage. This data can be exported to excel when needed. The image bellow shows the interface setting, configuring the port name that the weigh indicator is using to communicate with RidgeWeigh; as well as the Baud rate.
- 6. The string settings are unique to the weigh indicator since different companies use different string settings. The string manipulation setting window also allows one to sellect different platforms as shown. The database backup window is only available to MS SQL server Management systems.
- 7. The user settings tab provides security andauthentication configuration to users of the software. The privilage form provides the administrator with the ability to change privilages to different modules functionalities for different users. The accounts details menu enables the administrator to create accounts for users and give users access to change their passwords.
- 9. The log form provides history of the important activities from the start of software use. Log data of every action perform while using the software is recorded and can be printed when necessary.
