INTRODUCTION
 Multimodal biometric payment system is a new
technology allows people to pay with their own
biometrics such as fingerprints, hands, face and
other features.
 Generally verification payment systems use
finger print or swiping cards but these can be
forged easily.
 In order to overcome this problem a techinque
of multimodal biometrics are introduced by ju
cheng yang who worked at jiangxi university of
finance and economics
 The world famous gadget also uses biometric
verification for its security its apple iphone 5s
which uses a biometric finger print feature for
its verification whether it is used by
authenticated user or not
BACKGROUND
 According to author ju cheng yang, he introduced a
mutlimodal biometric system where multiple features
are taken as input by the system. This biometric
verification system is introduced in order to achieve
integrity of registered biometric data.
 In this multimodal biometrics there are two stages
enrollment and verification stage where in enrollment
stage the features are stored in template and in
verification stage by taking biometric input these are
verified
 Hidden biometrics are other type of biometric
verification system introduced by Amine NAIT-
ALI who is director of biometric research group,
laboratory images, signaux et systems intelligent
 He introduced hidden biometrics by which
biometric verification is done using ECG and
EMG signals.
RELATED WORK
 Ratha N K introduced a large finger print database
which is available in public domain. This is done so
because distortions are common in finger print images in
order to overcome this problem a method of indexing
large finger print databases is presented.
 Footprint based biometric verification system is
introduced by andreas and peter wild, department of
computer science, university of salazburg, austria where
verification is done through footprints of a person.
 Handbook of multibiometrics by springer-verlag
newyork, also carries the same concept of multimodal
biometrics which is introduced to overcome the
disadavantages of unimodal biometric verification
system.
PROPOSED RESEARCH
PROBLEM
 The main problem in this multimodal biometric
verification system is that the author ju cheng
yang proposed various authentication models for
verification but as there are many models it
creates chaos situation which is to be used
finally and even all the models are not accurate
 In some authentication models where it uses
third parties to maintain biometric templates but
it is not trust worthy to give all the confidential
information to third party.
 The various solutions proposed by ju cheng
yang and Amine nait-ali in order to overcome
the problems of unimodal biometric system are
very expensive to implement in day to day life.
 These are cost effective where only high
sophisticated companies can afford these type of
verification systems
SOLUTION
 The solution for above problems mentioned can
overcome by DNA test biometrics which we
wish to develop and even it is cost effective
when compared to recent research for biometrics
which is hidden biometrics
HIGH LEVEL DESIGN
 In this DNA test model we wish to develop an
equipment to test the DNA sample and gives
the appropriate result whether it is authenticated
person DNA or not
 The sample for DNA test may be like a hair
strand
 When we put the hair strand on a DNA test
verification machine it gives the appropriate
result and further verification can be done
 Some of the DNA test sample fondly known is
blood sample where this can be attached to
verification techniques which needs very high
and secured authentication privacy
 For normal verification systems we can use hair
strand as it is simple and easy and the equipment
is less when compared to MRI images or X-ray
images equipment
CONCLUSION
we wish to develop a easy accessible DNA test
verification system which is cost effective and
does not require much procedure to build an
equipment when compared and heavy equipped
DNA verification testing can be used which
requires highly sophisticated and confidential
verification which cannot be forged at any
situation.
